Default guys runnin a hack, Help!

I am runnin a hack for right now. I have 450cc injectors, a 255lph pump, and a AFC to control it all. the car idles ok,but my major thing right now is near 8k rpms.
at about 8k the car just stops pulling. the exhaust note doesn't crack but it just feels like it is flooding itself. the AF ratio under boost according to the auto timer is 10:1 but that is as low as it will read so I am sure it is under that. also my EGT's drop a lot too. they go to almost 600 degrees under boost and at 8mph on the highway they are at 800.

My question is how can I lean it out enough to let it pull to redline? I am leaned 45% across the board. Should I bump the boost a bit? I am running 8.5psi now. should I give it more timing? it is set at stock now too. any advice is needed

i think your 255lph pump is overkill. try putting the stock pump back in and retune.

if you can afford an itr, then you can afford a hondata or ems. Dont use that hack **** cuz it will advance your timing. Advanced timing + type-r pistons + boost = bad unless ur on race gas

Thats funny, thats like saying since i can afford my house i should be able to afford a mansion ........

anyways i had a problem kind of like yours, i was runing a 6:1 fmu, holley 255lph pump,310cc injectors and aem fpr and my air/fuel ratio was 10.0:1 + (wide band wouldn't read any richer). So i dropped to a 4:1 fmu and my air/fuel ratio went up to 10.0:1 -10.5:1...improvement but still way to rich. I had to buy a sfc to lean it out even more. Doesn't make sense to me because most people run a 8:1 with 310's i cant even run a 4:1 without being to rich. I would try adjusting your idle fuel pressure (to drop the fuel pressure across the board) to see if that helps any, if not then lean it out all the way with the v-afc to try and get your air/fuel ratio close to 12.5:1. some cars just run richer then others...

well I have lowered compression with inline pro HG and block gaurd. it is definitly not detonation. it is just flooding itself. I would like to pick up a power FC over summer but want to get this to run if I can. also my plugs are one heat range colder.

I might try to lower fuel presure across the board and see what happens.

if anyone else can think of anything feel free to post it.

Everything you have is fine. We had the same set-up in one of our cars. How many PSI are you running and what's your fuel pressure???

fuel presure is between 50 and 60psi. right now it is runnin 8.5psi. I looked more at the afc today and my 8 and 9k settings are way rich...I am goin to try to get out in a few minutes and lean it 5% or so and see what happens
