2 step (launch control) settings
I've searched H-T for 2 hours and have not found what I'm looking for. I'm wondering what are the "safe" limits for timing and fuel? I've seen people run up to -40 degrees and +400 units of fuel. This is on a sleeved 500whp DC2 running E85 and an s300.
RPM?
Timing Advance (Retard)?
Fuel added?
Boost result?
Thanks

In order to find this out the SAFE way you need to have the car properly tuned by a competent tuner. Its all a matter of what the motor/setup likes and doesnt like. Then you will be able to configure your 2 step.

Re: 2 step (launch control) settings
The car is properly tuned. The tuner set the two step but Im not building enough boost. I don't believe there's one spot you should have the car set at, there's a range depending on the tires you're running and how much boost you want to build. People adjust their two steps all the time. But... I would think -40 degrees is too much on all set ups

Oh ok! I know what you are trying to do now! I would pm Tony from T1, Miller from NYC, or one of those guys and ask their opinion. I know you can data-log and trend your boost level while cutting ignition gradually.

Re: 2 step (launch control) settings
im at -15 and 300 fuel enrichment making 14lbs. keep in mind the more timing you pull the more boost you will make. best bet is starting your limiter at say 6500 the other at 6700, -5 and 200 fuel if thats not enough boost go to -10 and 200Fuel. changing rpm will alter the boost level aswell. every set-up is different so start out low and work from there.
