who runs an air filter ?
I saw that alot of you guys dont use an air filter, is there any problem without using one ? seems like it wouldnt matter too much, what are the pros/cons of not using a filter ? most people clamp a screen or something on to the turbo am i correct ?
Turbo fins will get damaged over time. Doesnt really hurt much to put a filter on plus it saves your turbo. I think most of the people on this board do use a filter actually.
you really need to use and air filter. Just imagine sucking up a cloud of heavy dust into your engine, not good for it. Other things tend to find there why up that tube that you'd never expect......
Use one its worth the money. k n N make a good flowing filters.

I can't understand people who dont use filters.....it just doesn't make sense. They think that with the turbo you dont need one, but I say you need one more. Now you have your turbo to worry about protecting besides just your engine.

Running without a filter is so much safer. I would never run a street car without one.

Pass it this way!
So many people don't run filters, and then run into strange idling problems.. like me.
MY IAC valve was stuck closed from sucking in too much dirt..
Think about it.. there is dust in the air, and EVERY component in the intake
is exposed to that dirt. Some parts won't be affected while some parts will be.
If nothing else, use a filter to keep your oil cleaner longer.
