who is not using a iacv?
Once the car reaches normal operating temperature everything will be fine. Other than that, the car will be t3h suk during warm up... depending on EMS as well.

Let us know where you're located, and what temperature conditions you drive your car in.
Up here in Canada, you will never get the car to run properly without an IACV. Most guys in the southern states would have no problem with their warm weather all year round.
If you really hate making the IACV work with your intake manifold, etc... You can always use a simple on/off solenoid that turns on for cold starts only.

why would you put up with that??mines mounted on the firewall cause i'm using a venom intake manifold, but the car starts and warms up like its stock. if there was a good way to eliminate it i'd be all for it.

My manifold isnt designed to work with one. I know i could make an external bracket but here is why i dont.
1. i live in san diego - its not really cold here
2. its not my daily driver
3. im lazy
that about sums that up.
