White smoke and oil in the charge pipes?

White smoke and oil in the charge pipes?
I get a lot of white smoke, and oil blasts out of the turbo's compression outlet. The turbo spools and spins great... but it's obviously damaged. So my only option is to get this turbo, which I bought used, a rebuild. But does anyone know what exactly causes this problem, like what specific part breaking? I don't even have the charge pipe hooked into my intake manifold, in fact I dont even have a charge pipe on my turbo right now, so I'm going to keep driving it until I get my rebuild. I read a thread somewhere a while back about a special oil to stop smoke, anyone know what it is? Any help with these questions is appreciated.. thanks in advance.

Oil blasting out of the compressor outlet can only mean one thing, blown oil seals. You need to rebuild the turbo.
