so the walbro will handle 4 bar fuel pressure plus 30psi of boost

Re: When does the walbro struggle (Quickgti1.8t)
If you are trying to 'cheat' your injectors with 59psi of fuel pressure, you will more than likely max your injectors out just shy of 500whp. The last set-up I tried to 'cheat' this way reached 100% duty cycle at 480whp. I believe we were running 23psi with the walbro hp 255.
Also, when asking questions like this it's good to keep your units identical to one another (bar/psi).
So you are basically looking at running 90psi of fuel pressure... that graph should give you an answer

Won't this cause premature wear on the unit? Just curious.

i couldnt see how given they have higher ampage alternators that are naturally making more voltage than OEM so if thats the case then a higher ampage alt system would prematurely wear out a oem pump
higher voltage will just give it greater working ability

Re: (b18sihatch)
Fuel pump and alternator are different things. Alternator is governed by the charge governor, it would produce alot more voltage than 14.4V or so what it gives out when charging the battery, but the voltage governor doesnt allow it.

Re: (Flashmn)
yea but the fuel pump is electric and you would think higher voltage from the alternator sent to the eletrical system would make the fuel pump work more
maybe i am wrong but it sounds right to me lol
