whats a good plug gap for fi sohc
What is a good plug gap for a sohc turbo setup. My engine setup is d16y7 block, d16z6 head and mani with a t3 turbo running uberdata basemap. thanks

if your running stock ignition .28, if you have a MSD 6L or something you can run a little wider gap. all depends on how much boost your running and what kinda plug.

I never ran tighter than .32 even at 13 psi with NGK BKR7E plugs anything tighter and the car ran slower . Anything wider and it blew out the spark.. This was with a MSd cap wires and Blaster SS coil.

I have been running 6-8 psi daily for a few months and there wasn't much of a problem, except for a little hesitation with boost transition. After starting this thread, I gapped mine to 30 and i immediately noticed that i was starting to run a little leaner. Is this normal?

I'm running .28, but everyone's engine is different. You'll just have to try out different gaps and see what works best for you.

yea i always notice people saying .28 or something when its .028. I say anywhere between .028-.032. I run .028 @10psi personally.
