Default what would cause a turboed car not to boost?

just wondering what are some things that would cause a turboed car not to boost? TIA!

Massively to large of a turbo for the engine (ex: GT45 on a D16 )
Manifold leak
wastegate leak
bov leak
bad turbo
forgetting to put the spring in the wastegate

Step 1: Insert key
Step 2: Put in gear and press gas pedal to floor.
Step 3: Boost to your hearts content!

found out the turbo was frozen. looks like a lack of oil lubrication.
