Default turbo take a dump?

its not making full boost. It makes like 5-7 psi only now, i didnt find any boost leaks or popped off charge piping. the shafts have alittle play but not much on comp and ex side. it doesnt smoke or anything. Any ideas would be appreciated guys.

check your spring on the wastegate>>???

A boost leak that will only allow 5-7psi is going to be small. You're better off doing a boost leak test than just pulling at couplers blindly.

1.You should try making a boost leak tester, I made one for a couple bucks...sounds like you may have a tiny leak...

2.check your wastegate vacum sources, and make sure its opening properly

3.also are you running a boost controller?

If thr turbo was blown would it make any boost?

Your turbo sounds ok, Check over the charge pipes and wg spring
