what will this setup do!!!
You clearly lack fundamental knowledge that you think you have. You need to stop arguing with people that obviously know MUCH more than you and actually learn something. The original post talks of 1/4 mile racing and can be assumed its a track car. Even if it is not, it isn't the end of the world for the engine. Do you even have a clue where the majority of the heat is in a cylinder? Clearly you do not. Head flow is MUCH more important than block flow will ever be. I have been filling blocks longer than you have been alive. Don't try to lecture me with your nonsense. Do you even understand what methonal does or what temperatures it keeps the engine at? Turbo or not, just because you add a turbo to an engine doesn't mean it is automatically going to run hotter either... You want to seem intelligent with the AMOUNT you post (also why you double space everything) rather than posting something worth reading or information to support your claims.
Too many people on here spout off and can't even remotely back up their foolish arguments.

I double space because it organizes my sentances into an easier to read post in my opinion, sorry you dont like that.
I have never said you don't have a clue what your talking about, infact, I'm sure you have many years of knowledge and experience to back up your theories. I really don't think you have been filling blocks for more than 32 years.
The things I have said on here are not only true, but I have seen filled blocks have overheating problems on street driven cars first hand, no where does this thread indicate it will be a drag only car, which I highly doubt it will be a drag only car. Yes coolant flow to the head is more important, but boosted motors do heat up much easier than n/a, and I'm not only refering to heating problems in terms of overall temps. I am also refering to hot spots on cylinder walls causing sleeves to crack, which I have also seen.
I dont dispute the fact that block filling has been done many times, some with success, and others with failure, its the ones that fail because block filling is not a wise choice, nor is it needed, that make me say the things I say about it.
For you to take everything so personally, and then attack me personally, and say I have no knowledge, is very childish, You could simply acknowledge the fact that block filling has mixed outcomes, some good, some bad, and its not worth the chance, which is the reality of it. In my opinion it is people like you that just bag on everyone, say rude and annoying things, and in general just act like you are the only one who knows anything/ has any knowledge, that make boards like this an unpleasant place....

Entertainment comes cheap these days with the Internet; we used to have to pay for this type of show.. Also, 30 years sounds about right actually. I can't put an exact date we started experiementing with filling blocks but it was sometime in the 70's - early 80's... I have seen everything you say as well, but it isn't as severe as you make it out to be.
Also, I don't take much personal, you don't know me very well on these forums. I have been told I have the personality of a lemon. We should make one thing clear, I am the same way in person, that I can assure you.
