well, you said your base map is ****, so it will probably take a couple 1/2 runs just to get things semi-normal, let alone be able to do a real pull to start the tuning process..

2 hours should cover you, unless something comes up or the tune is wack//dead spots, etc that are hard to get out.

depends on where you go and thier rate, most shops usually charge around 75 for the dyno and 75 for the tuner. so basicallt $150 an hour.

shouldn't take too long to tune since you have hondata if the guy knows it well.

****, my local tuner quoted me 175.00 the 1st hour, and 125.00 after that.
they also said that the average honda takes 4-6 hours....and that is with wideband and hondata......
what do you guys think about that?

I had a great tuning job and dynoed at 246whp @9psi stock internals on my old b16 tuned with hondata a wideband was used and it was only a 100/hour. it was turbo tune in greensboro NC it was worth my 7 hour drive.

just watch out make sure the place has a good rep I would talk to gruvytune I think he told me for about 4 hours around 550 or 600 which is good for a good tuning session and as long as your car is right there will always be the little things that the tunerwill notice if he is good and he will take care of all thoose dead spots

Buy a wideband and do it yourself. It will pay for itself in the long run.

I was going to buy a wideband but I dont know how to tune hondata. Plus I want to make the most power I can with my setup. I was thinking of going to DRT or RPMNYC cause they're only 2 hrs from me.
