What rod bearings for b18b block, eagle rods
I'm going to use new rod bearings so what ones do i need to order?
The stock rod bearings are marked with a little green on the side.
Using eagle rods part number CRS5394A3D (Eagle ESP H-Beam Connecting Rods)
Stock b18b crank perfect condition

you need to get the letters/numbers from the crank and block to properly select the correct color bearings. after that you should have the clearances checked/measured with plastigauge.

Eagle rods for Honda (for the most part, including LS rods) are sized to be the same as an OEM Honda #3 size rod.

Not sure if this is the question hes asking and sorry if this thread jacks, but what Brand of rod bearings should be ordered one the measurements are made? I know a lot of people swear by OEM Honda but assuming the motor was to be rev'd daily over the stock rev limit, to say 7200 regularly and 74-7500 at the track, would OEM honda bearings be good enuff to handle the increased stress?

one size fit's all bearings are not a good idea when you need exact specs and clearances. especially on a turbo honda engine where the proper specs are very important.
OEM bearings =

Never trust the one size fits all claim from ACL. My clearances came out very tight with ACL's. It is always a good idea to measure the o.d. of the crank journal, i.d of the rod, and then decide what clearance you want. Then you can select the right color bearing to achieve proper clearances.
A few years ago when I didnt know any better I was told to run greens with the Eagle rods. Luckily it worked out... the motor is still running to this day in another car.

Eagles are supposed to be sized for GREEN OEM bearings. Most cranks come with GREEN bearings, so it's normally safe to say GREENs along with micropolishing will usually get you the clearances you'll need. The best way is to order a pair of GREENS. Bolt the rods up/take off [individually] a few times to stretch the bolt (ARP recommends 5 cycles if not using a stretch guage), then plastigage with GREENS, then order accordingly. If you can, try to check for roundness of the surfaces.
I work with precision ex-military micrometers (and have tons of calibrating equip), so I get to check for roundness & exact diameter, so I won't be suprised later. Hopefully the jig I have thought up will work.
