Default engine builders (eagle rods on b18b crank)

i just plastigauged my eagle rods and counting into human error they were all within tolerance with brown rod bearings. i was just wondering for those who have the same set up what color bearings you guys ended up with? i guess my ultimate question to be answered is: 1 eagle rod used in CALI the same as 1 used in NYC? u know like same tolerance anywhere u buy them. i have CP pistons and i KNOW for a fact they are all accurate to 0.0001 tolerance. so if this were true with eagle rods, we all should thereotically be using same color rod bearings for the same set up (b18b crank).

EDIT: except like boosted-hybrid who prefers to use bearings on the loose end like he states on his website for gsr building...

OEM cranks vary.... thats why Honda makes different thickness bearings and uses a color coded chart ... so no, not everyone is going to use brown bearings in conjunction with eagle rods ...

.. Ive even come across blocks that are stamped incorrectly from factory ... so be careful and don't assume anything ... I like using my trusty micrometer set .. most people can get away with plastiguage
