Default What kind of ecu should I use?

I was planning on getting a p28 with hondatas300 to go along with my fully built Ls/Vtec turbo (GT35R). It is going in my 93 integra LS. What do you guys think? I am using a b16a3 head and a b18a1 block.

it doesnt matter, a chipped p72 would be the best but it really doesnt matter.

what the hell! a regular chipped ecu? No way in hell would i use a chipped ecu unless it was chipped with crome or uberdata....

to the op if your looking to tune yourself go with something that you prefer if not let the tuner do what he wants and what he is comfortable with...

I got the P28 with S300 on my EK. Tuned by Mase The damn thing is so smooth it feels like it came from the factory Turbo.

P28 w/S300 that is my 0.02.

I am in a similar situation, I have a 99 gsr, with b20/b18 turbo setup, debating whether I should go with a p28 or a p72 with the hondata s300.

Does this fall into the fold of preference or does each ecu have its own pros and cons...

The P28 is PERFECT for running any of the popular vtec honda motors. I would just go with the P28 because of price, they have the same options minus the knock sensor. But with an LS/VTEC you don't have a provision for the knock sensor anyway.

And a chipped ecu is a chipped ecu. You can run uber, crome, neptune, on the same chipped ecu. So as long as it is socketed for your application you are fine. The S300 is the only one that takes the male socket instead. So just make sure it has that, and you are golden.
