What A:F do stock turbo cars run in boost?
just wondering.
i never see stock turbo cars spitting out dark smoke (rich) when running.
seems they should if they are tuned to 12:1 or more fueling?

well i dont know but my friends supra and my other friends RX7 ALWAYS pour out black smoke along with flames at redline.

Im sure they run pretty ruch so 12:1 sounds reasonable. Maybe its just hard to see but my friends supra spits out black smoke.

It's normal for turbo RX7's to shoot flames when they're hard on the throttle. My car used to shoot flames when it backfired running really really rich

I know they have smog pumps and bigger cats (1.8T vw's and sorts).
Maybe they just clean it up better.
