i thought i set up everything like i was supposed to...running stock in-tank pump, NOS 255lph in-line, drag III fmu with 8:1 disk, and rc 310's...and it runs pretty rich under full boost...all my friends say i have a good bit of black smoke, but when i do a run check, my plugs look fine...any ideas?

 

Some black smoke at WOT especially when coming off the throttle is normal.

 

are they going solely by the black smoke or do you have any other indications?

when is the last time your checked your compression? might have nothing to do with it but you never know!
