Name one factory boosted car with compression levels that high.....

Actually why don't you go shoot yourself.

Who cares about factory boosted cars? They want consumers to have reliability in case some one put low grade gasoline up in there.

Out of nowhere you come and just say his car won't last.

Go away troll.

I hope you are not serious. My car has been running for a month already. Doesn't take a genious to detect knock.

No turbo motor would last without good tuning. But to those who doesn't know jack about tuning, wouldn't know anything about compression and boost either -- like yourself.

No factory turbo car came with high compression... But no Honda B-series ever came with a turbo from the factory. So what was your point?

factory turbo cars are low compression, because when you loan your car to your dumb girlfriend or something, she will fill it up with 87 octane. because why pay more for 93 when 87 is cheaper and its the same thing. combine that with hot *** summers in Southern states like Florida, texas, arizona etc.

His motor will be fine if its tuned right, which I am sure it is. detonation kills motors not compression.

Is this the type of throttle response to be expected with ITB's?

Haha, I am all for big power as well... but I guess I need some variation along with my other cars...

Car that can take some V8's off the lights = Integra
Car that is stealthy/clean = Integra
Car that can still be roadraced = Integra

Car that satisfies my big turbo craving = Camry
Car that smokes rubber from 1st-3rd = Camry
Car that does not require driver's skill at all = Camry (it's auto )

Car that I need it to run if both the Integra and Camry is down = Acura 1.6 EL

hey tony. whats up? this is henry from the toyota forums. man you go all out on your cars. thats nice. but also got a question for you. if i am building an na engine, plan on doing a 2.2 storker from crower, with itbs, jun 3 cams(probably switch cams back out for stock gsr if turbo, but curious to see how it does), and 12.5 compression. what do you think about running a small turbo afterwards? like lets say a gt25, or even the same 1 as yours. you think running 1 bar boost would be fine with it running around 95 octane with xylene to bump the octane up a bit?

also, the plenum and fuel rail you got from rmr(ross) correct?

forgot, what vacuum log is that?

also, if you have a plenum for itbs, could you do water injection with 1 or 2 injectors and it distribute evenly? instead of having to have 4 injectors in each runner? i would think this would work but not sure.
