What do you think my Dyno #'s will be?
Hi Everyone,
I should be getting my car back soon and wanted some opinions on HP/Torque in realistic terms. It will go to the dyno once the performance shop is done with it.
Once it is tuned I'll post up the graphs in this thread.
1993 Del Sol Si.
- B20/V- Sleeved (84.5mm) low compression pistons, forged rods, ARP, etc..
- Fluidamper (street)
- Civic Si Head, mild port work, JDM 2001 ITR cams, upgraded valve train.
- Skunk 2 intake mani (port matched), 70mm TB, Coil on plug. Hondata s300
- Rebuilt trans w/LSD. Clutch masters lightened flywheel and stage 2 clutch.
- DSS Level 2.9 axles, solid mounts.
- Cast-log turbo kit (go-auto works) 38mm wastegate, 50mm BOV.
- 3" exhaust
- 1000 cc ID's
-93 Octane
T-GA 5454
54mm Billet Compressor Wheel
F1-54mm Inconel Turbine wheel
Journal Bearing Cartridge, Oil cooled only
HP Rating 530hp
Each T-GA Turbonetics turbo offered includes:
• HPC forged billet aluminum compressor wheel
• Polished compressor housing (3" inlet/2" outlet)
• Enhanced Map Porting
• F1-series 713C inconel turbine wheel

whats the size on that intercooler. im thinkin after 400whp, your iats will be higher and the gain from upping the boost will be smaller.
with the displacement, manifold, and turbo selected, you definitely be spoolin pretty good. nice open powerband, with good power

with that clutch...... maybe 400hp max? or youll burn that out real fast on launches etc...
and is wastegate flange on 1 runner or 2 or is it where the collector is? hard to tell from pic.... could play in some boost creep issues, depending on placement of the wastegate....
and yes, ditch the OEM mani....... go victor X for next tune.
BUMP FOR BURNOUT VID!

A ramhorn *could* allow for a good amount more power though, no? I know people have used the logs for high hp builds, but I figured the performance was mostly from their cam/turbo setup.

yes, but you can only do so much. a ramnhorm would most likely make some more power. but it would also change where to power is delivered. i guessing by the manifold and turbo hes using. he want a more low end to midrange powerband. but just curious how far he could push it.

I remember when just a few years back, people were using Kooks-Style manifolds for GT2860RS turbochargers with .82A/R turbine housings. What a mess.
Check with the Evolution 8-10 guys, and you'd be surprised at the exhaust manifolds they use for huge 600whp stock exhaust manifold builds. They work so well, there's even a specific drag class at the DSM shootout specifically for the stock manifolds. They are barely any larger in runner size or design than a tubular log manifold.
