i think thats all anyways i blew my old motor up Jan. 19 of "05" yes 1 year 1 week ago. i didnt plan on getting a set-up this wild but it just happend one thing led to another and POW i got this. real quick i want to thank all of u great HT guys for helping me out this past year i didnt know to much about boosted hondas when i bought this car i was always an all motor guy but i love the dark side now.
its gets dyno tuned mon or tue cant wait. any predictions? tuner said we prolly wont push it any farther than 15 lbs on pump gas. my guess is 400-450 on 11-15 lbs. ???? we'll see.
i had a ? about the apexi avc-r. lets say my car is tuned for 14lbs and i select 4lbs for first gear. how will my car run proper on 4lbs at WOT when im tuned for 14lbs???? sorry if this is a dumb question but i havent found anyone or anything to help me out with this ? so its time to ask. thanx guys

First of all, sick setup.
Second of all, I'm sure your car will run fine at 4 psi, since it's tuned for 14 psi. It has to go through 4 psi to get there.

It will run perfect (assuming the tune is right) at 4 psi, wot. The fuel delivery is dependant upon boost, so whether you are running 6 psi, 10 psi, or whatever, the af will stay wherever you tuned it at.

says 84mm up there
Very similar to my setup, so I'm excited to see what you make. I have a 85mm b18a w/9.1 JE's, crower billet steel rods, b18c1 head, skunk 2 stage 1 na cams, ferrea stock sized valves, skunk 2 dual springs, crower titanium retainers, and a will be tuned on 110 octane. I'm hoping for 550 whp

Re: 2.0 gsr dyno tomarrow! predictions and ? on avc-r (Turbocivic94)
very nice car and very nice build... as for you running 4lbs, you wont be able to run any less boost then what your wastegate spring is... so if you have a 7lb spring the least amount of boost you can run is 7lbs...
also when the tuner tunes the car he will start tuning at the lowest amount of boost and progressively turn up the boost and tune so that way your cels in your maps are all tuned and you will be able to run from lowest set boost to the highest he tuned without having to worry

hey man im gonna be excited to see what you get out of it. I have heard from several people that stage 1 n/a cams are better than turbo cams I dont know though.

Re: (vtecspeed1320)
For the most part, ITR or Skunk 2 Stage 1 NA cams (both are pretty much the same thing) are two of the better cams that are easy to get your hands on for a high hp boosted application. I hear of gains from 30-90 HP over GSR cams w/ITRs or skunk 2 s1's.. I don't have my setup together yet, so I can't tell you personally how I like them..

Wow, you have done an excellent job of building that GSR! Good luck with the tuning, after its tuned I would love to see some vids with the front end on it and ~400hp propeling it

Well the car is an animal,.... feels very good... wish we could do a race gas tune for you now, but I guess we can wait until spring, if you insist.
As for the AVC-R, yes it does have to go through 4psi to get to 15, but since the wastegate spring is set at 15 psi, that is the lowest load I can tune for throughout the entire RPM range at WOT. I have made the lower load fuel curve match in shape to the higher load (15psi) fuel curve, and estimated the percentage of fuel across the RPM range at the lower load (4psi)....
Right now the car runs perfectly, we're revving to 8,500 RPM because I don't think it makes a whole lot more power beyond that, but we'll see. We might raise it to 9,000 if it is still making power, we'll see when we put it on the dyno... 10 A.M. tomorrow (Saturday 1/28) weather permitting.
