well...i just got all my turbo kit on...my info says what i'm running...

but anyways...the top fitting on my wastegate hits on my Fiber Images $500 CF hood...and its trying to eat threw it everytime the motor rocks...i tryed spacing the hood at the hinges and adjusting it everywhere....it won't clear...what hood do you guys use for a 92-95 hatch with my turbo setup? i was thinking about gettin the CF hood with the backwards scoops...it has a big raise at the front...might clear it..i don't know what to do...i love my hood but i don't wanna ruin it...should i cut a hole in it for the fitting on the wastegate? if anyone has any ideas...let me know!

get a 90 degree elbow and move the wastegate so it sits parallel with the hood.

 

is it just hitting the reinforcement under the hood? If it is, a little time with the dremel tool with the right bit will fix the problem
