i am building a b16 turbo and am thinking of going with a t3/t04e turbo. My max power will most likely be around 400 on race gas. low boost on pump. Like 8-10 psi. thats all..A stock block first then a built one. Hondata 2b with 550 cc injectors.

Yes, that turbo will be just perfect. A t3 stage 3 .63a/r/ T04E .57 will support that. But look at getting larger injectors.

 

i was hoping to use them because i got them for nothing.

 

Sell them for something, and get larger ones. You should be ok with the 550cc, but I would just go larger just in case.

If you did a search you would have saw my post of a built motor with a t3/t4e making 443whp...but not 8-10 pounds. its gonna take 15-20 pounds.

 

You will be able to make 350-400 whp with a T3/T04E with the following specs:

.63 A/R Turbine Housing
Stage III Turbine

.60 A/R Compressor Housing
60 Trim Compressor

You will be right on the edge, but it should make the power you want.

 

thats the specs on my turbo, water cooled, built by Majestic Turbo in Texas. I am making 350 HP easily on it and it would easily push over 400 if I could run more boost safely. I run 14 psi daily with it.

 

is that on 8-10 pounds?

when does that turbo spool up?
