What could be a reason my bov is not working....
i have a greddy type s bov. It's hooked up correctly to the nipple at the top and seems to have a good vaccum source being my vaccum manifold. Screw is turned all the way soft plus I've had it all the way hard. Still nothing. I know this thing worked when I got it, but then I took the adjusting screw all the way out and put it back in. And since then the bov has not worked. Any suggestions.
hmm...are you sure you have the vacuum source plugged into the right place...I know that some BOVs have two nipples...
Yeah it has one on the lower back side and one on the front upper side. Everyone says it the one on the front side that it plugs in too. I guess what I might do is hook it up to another source for the vaccum and see if it does anything. But when it's hooked up and the car is running and I disconnect the vaccum source from the bov the car almost cust off so it seems that it's getting the amount of vaccum.
BOVs are really simple devices...either it works or it doesn't, and it sound as if yours is ok...just try the other port or maybe another source...

Make sure the vacuum source you are hooked into is between the throttle body and the engine. Not before the throttle.....
