I' ve done everything I can think of to get this to work and yet it still does not. I've adjusted it to hard and too soft, I have even taken it apart and put it back together still nothing. All I get it compressor surge. I know iut worked at one time then I took the adjusting screw all the way out and put it back in and since then it has not worked. Maybe I'm not adjusting it right. Can anyone help me. Btw it is a greddy type s bov. I know the vaccum line that is feeding it is right cause when I take it off the bov with the car running the car almost custs off.

You have the vacuum hose hooked up to the nipple pointing straight out and not the diagonal one right?

If you take the BOV off the flange does the valve open at idle?

Are there two nipples on the BOV? If so, try the other (If you haven't already done that)

 

yeah there are two, I'll try the other and see what it does

 

i tried the other nipple and it did worse. So i still can't figure out what is wrong
