i have an RFL bov and i get flutter when it doesn't open at 10psi with my set up too. some bovs have stiffer springs than others and some can be adjusted. what kind of bov do u have?

Re: Compressor Surge!
if there is an adjustment then loosen it up. also the bov should have a dedicated vacuum line preferably a larger one like the front nipple that used ot be hooked up for PCV system. and if your running pcv system then you need to do somethign about that as well

Re: Compressor Surge!
At such boost you should be ok without a BOV temporarily while you source out good BOV. Consider looking for DSM 1G or EVO Bov. Those are BOV are reliable and can be had for cheap. GL!

Re: Compressor Surge!
If I were you I would run a dedicated vacuum line to the BOV. Mine T'd off the PCV line would not open the valve, switching to a dedicated line made a world of difference. If you are going to T it, go off the brake booster.

Re: Compressor Surge!
Yea the RFL BOV's are typically picky. I had mine T'ed originally and it would do that on ocassion. Give it its own line.
