hey, i popped a CP piston in my b16a block and scratched the cyl walls up real good. . a guy i know has a CTR b16b block laying around. . will it be a direct replacement??? or will it not work, i have b16a crank eagle rods stock lenght and stock b16a head. . will the block be a direct replacement???

all i could find is one person on another forum saying that the b16b block is a GSR block because the CTR motor is just a destroked GSR motor

it will work, but not really all that well. a b16b is a destroked b18c with custom length rods.

the deck height of a B16b block is the same as the B18/B20, so no, unless you wanted to buy new rods and crank
