Default what is the best method for tracking down an ehaust leak

i have an exhaust leak and cant seem to find the exact source, anybody got some tricks to tracking it down? This is a new install so thier is no TELL tail signs of carbon deposits. All bolts are tighted, it is just really hard to tell where the leak is.

I used a torch. You put the flame near any area that might have a leak and it'll flicker if you do. Of course you must have the engine on

Stick a vacuum line in brake fluid. Wherever the smoke comes from, that's your exhaust leak.

Don't ask me how I know

I've always used trans fluid not brake fluid and it worked very well. Just dont use too much maybe a cap full or two.
