Leakdown
I searched and couldn't find anything on it, well i could, just not what i wanted to know..... so a leakdown is a test done to show how much and exactly where a leak occurs..... but how is it done? what is used to do this? what's the theory behind this that makes it so effective? AND WHY THE HELL DOESN'T ANYONE AROUND HERE HAVE THE EQUIPMENT TO DO IT!? like really, how much is involved in this?? or maybe it's just called something else here, cause it's really pissing me off that nobody can do one more me!

What is exactly leaking in your car? oil, water in the car? When my rubber screw boots were dry rotted, and water was leaking into on my pass side floor, i replaced the boots and then took a hose and sprayed my car down, because usually when i washed my car, water would leak it, but after i repalced the boots, i sprayed it, and no water.
So just what ever part is leaking, get some sort of liquad, i would use water, and then fill it, or spray w/ water, and see if it leaks.

he's talking about a leak-down test, genius. it has to do with the engine. go to any speed shop that actually works on cars and ask them. they should know exactly where to get it done [if they don't do it themselves].
