There guys wright now i am very confused, I have read so much on main bearings and connecting rods bearings sizes. Can somebody advice me and tell me if there is some kind of a good bearing kit which works with my 1996 jdm itr engine , (obviously with an oem crankshaft and with eagle H beam rods. Pls Help, cause i cannot understand these oem colour type bearings sizes?

I ran all green ( factory honda )rod bearings with my eagle rods and have had no problems. As far as main's you have to reference the codes on the crank and bottom of block and use the chart to see what sizes you need.

Or you could order ACL bearings which only come in one size. Then just plastigauge everything to make sure its within clearance.

Thanks guy for your help , from where can i puchase these ACL bearings? And do you now how much clearance you should have PLS?

This thread is a can of worms waiting to happen, seriously. Search and you will see that everyone has an opinion.

I personally run ACL bearings. Got them from Earl on this board, PM him. Great seller. They were in the $90-100 range as I remember.
