Default welding pipes

Hey instead of finding some silicon hoses to connect tubes.. how strong would a mig weld hold up a 2.5" pipe to a 2.25 pipe? boosting max of 10psi

It would take a helluva lot more than 10psi to break a good MIG weld. Are you saying you just want to jump a 1/8" gap?Why not go to the local muffler shop and have them blow the 2.25 up to 2.5 and wled it up nice?

well i bought a mig welder today and i'm peicing together a charge pipe.. using an AEM CAI for the charge pipe and my hks ssq bov was on a charge pipe off the ic kit that i bought.. the charge pipe from the TB didn't fit soooo i had to go hacking away at it on my own. As long as it wont hurt my 10psi of boosting i wont really care

You can MIG weld aluminum using aluminum wire, no problem.

i welded them together, and they are holding, looks hella ugly due to the gap there was.. had to build up a puddle and make a bridge for it i'll post some pics tomarrow.. but i guess i could just throw some thermal wrap over it and hide it had to turn my new 199 home depo welder down to "low" setting high was just eating through the aluminum

dont worry about that, but you should worry about little "holes" in your welds that will leak boost.
