Default Having second thoughts

k i sold my gsr to Na junkie (ht name thks bro) and i bought an ek hatch, Now i have my entire maxrev,drag.cheapturbo.com,greddy turbo kit sitting here and 1500 dollars to play with. Now here is where i need help.... alls i wanna do with this car is run high 12's on bfg's or slicks(can use my friends 24's anyday anytime) and i want this car to be reliable. My first thought was to buy an ls swap and throw it in with the kit, but stock block and ls tranny i just dont know how fast the car would be.

here is my options,,,,, help me decide guys i need to get it done in a month

1.keep the kit run a stock ls swap(can get for 1600 complete in my area)and hope for 12's

2.add a bit more money and piece a ls swap together with a gsr tranny, and a mild port job,,,,but will take longer than a month

3.use the 1500 sell my kit and drop in a itr swap with a 65 shot of juice and call it the day

i am lost guys help me

ahh edit my kit consits of
t3/t04e 57 trim 63.ar
max rev 2.5 inch dp
max rev manifold
drag ic and piping
greddy type s
tial
440's
walbro
greddy emanage

LS swap with mild port and polish and GSR tranny with LS final gear and all mainteance done (gaskets, seals, etc). Then piece the turbo kit on there, pop the slicks on, do a lot of weigh reducing and dip into the low 12's.

what chassis is this in?

ohh damn my reading skillz suck.

I think you can easily get a stock block LS in an EK into the 12's

I would just spend any extra money on management & tuning and bigger injectors if it comes down to it.

here's what I would do.
3"DP
3" Exhaust
550's
Standalone (take your pick)
Wideband Dyno Time

good luck on 12's.
