Default water cooled td04????

i plan on using a stock wrx turbo (td04) , but the turbo has to lines for a coolant hook up. it was water cooled on the wrx, do i need to hook up coolant or do i just bypass the whole thing>?? any info would be a great .

Yeah you can run w/o it but as the turbo already has it and if you can I would hook it up.

Just hook it up, it takes all of 10 minutes to do. It was designed to run with water, so why not run it.

I run a 16G on my and I tired off the water lines from the block, just make a loop with them. Feed goes to the feed of the turbo, and then loop the return lines back around to where you cut the line in half. Works like a charm.
