Default wastegate still messed up

ok after adjusting the allen bolt on the deltagate it still wont boost past 4 psi wut the hell we turned it 1 and a half turns and it didnt do anything at all...with the vacume off it will boost so wuts the problem here i was told by a friend not to hook the vacume up to the manifold and the diaphram in the wg is fine no cracks or tears

sounds like a 5psi spring (is it?), take off the nut and screw the allen head bolt till its just about flush wiht the wastegate housing, see if you boost properly then...

on the WG it has a lil 7 sticker so i imagine its a 7 psi spring

yes, its a 7psi spring. take off the nut and screw the allen head bolt till its just about flush with the wastegate housing, maybe leave 1 thread left poking out. let us know what happens...

ill try that but...wont that make it possible for teh allen key to come loose while driving?

well after turning it like 2 turns it boosted at 5 psi and i just took the nut off and turned it again and were about to take it down the road again but the bolt feels really loose in there

im sure you've done this, but check all your piping and make sure there isnt a leak.

no leaks at all we can disconect the vacume from the WG and itll spike we took it down the road just now and hit just about 6 psi...the gauge is also fine vacume at idle is -20 the adjuster is almost all teh way in is it possible to buy a 9 lb spring?
