WHAT SIZE OF WASTEGATE SPRING WOULD I USE?????
I want to run 11PSI and I have a TIAL 38mm Wastegate. I went to there site but it said .7 is 10.60PSI and .8 is 11.60. So which one would I use since I'm "NOT" at the moment using a boost controller? I have a .5 in there now so I will swithc back once I get the controller but this is for now.
Also I bought this wastegate used and it didn't have the bolt on the top of the wastegate, where can I get a new one? I never seen anywhere on the site to order or do I call? Can I get any bolt? I was told to get the same one for that spring. So when I order a new spring will it come with a new bolt on top? Thanks

just get a boost controller, instead of buying a different spring and boost controller later.
and what top bolt are u talking about? if you're talking about that hole in the very center of the wastegate. dont worry bout it, leave it open.

On top of the watsegate there is a hole that is threaded and I was told that I was to have the bolt that goes there so the wastegate opens when it is supossed to.
I'll search on the MBC and see how they work, I just don't know how they adjust where you know what PSI your running after it's adjusted. Thanks again

you go boost and look at the boost gauge. then you know.

that threaded hole on top is for venting. it can be used in conjunction with a manual boost controller, but most people just leave it open.
DO NOT PLUG IT WITH A BOLT

Yeah you just close the MBC totally closed, open it up a slight bit, go for a run and see how much boost you build, keep opening until you build and hold the psi level you want, obviously youll need a boost gauge
Pretty easy

Re: (dan_w_82)
Those look fine, but I dont see how they lock, like mine has the adjustable screw that hose have that just twists and untwists, but also has a second dial that locks the adjustable one so it doesnt move, I dont see what stops those from loosenging/tightenning while driving....

Re: (W O T)
you have the mechanics of the mechanical boost controller all backwards WOT. you leave the controller all the way open, then close it if you want to run a higher amount of boost.
you want to stop the wastegate from seeing the pressure that will open it up. if you shut the controller totally, that bitch will just keep rising.
