Default Which way to turn wastegate bolt?

Alright guys, I don't know enough about my turbo parts to understand, but I need some help here. My mechanic turned my boost up a tad too much today, and the POS Deltagate can't handle it, so I need to turn the boost back down. Which way do I turn the bolt on the top of the wastegate? I'm pretty sure I loosen it, but it's too late for me to do it right now, I'll do it tomorrow morning after I'm sure (From your help as well). Thanks again guys.

Counter-clockwise to make the spring more sensitive. Then again you should know you can't go way beyond the limits of the spring rating of the wastegate. When I used to have a Deltagate, the spring was rated at 7 psi yet opened up at 5 psi. Then again this was before I had tightenened it down where the allen insert was flush with the nut.

So do you tighten the allen insert or the nut? And just to make it clear- tightening = more boost, loosening = less?
