Default wastegate spring swap

will a stock .6 bar spring from a 44mm tial wastegate be swapable w/ a 12lbs (not sure what rate of bar) spring from a 38mm tial wastegate? Just curious cause' my wife needs a lower rate spring (mine) and mine doesn't matter but if she can use mine then i'll use hers w/ a Greddy profec B... TIA

from what i've been told the highes you can go on a spring is double the amount of boost the spring is made for. EX. 7 PSI spring is good only to 14 PSI

all tial wastegate uses the same springs. but the spring rate may diff by 1-3psi. go to tials website to see what it will give out

?? I'm not sure I understand what you're saying... I'm asking if my spring will fit into her wastegate.. That sounds sooo dirty....LOL

lol i thought u were asking how much boost you could get out of the .6 bar spring. if it doesn't fit just use some KY haha

yeah, it will fit. I plan on swapping in a .7bar spring in my tial soon. I only need one boost level so it is pointless to spend $$$ on a boost controller

Yeah I went to their site when I was at work (shhhh don't tell anyone LOL) and their site wasn't working... I'll try again later...
