Default Wastegate gaskets

In the last few weeks i have blown out 2 wastegate gaskets and i was just wondering what i could do to avoid the problem or if there was a better gasket i could put in there to avoid this problem and keep me from changing this damn think every other day...any info would be greatly apreciated--if you have a diff idea on changing gaskets where could i get some from.? thakns again for any info.........Matt

I've never had any problems with the firering ones from RRE:


ATP also makes metal ones now:

summit racing sells SCE copper Gaskets for $5 each they are listed as turbonetics wastegate gaskets. I never blow one of them. I always blow the fire ring ones.

summit changed the price its $7.39 part number is SCE-4150

I dont know about you guy but i myself have tried all those gasket and they dont do ****. They would blow out in a few days, i use hi-temp silicone gasket make since then and not one problem, it only like 4 buck at an auto store
