Default How bad to run wastegate w/o the gasket?

Well after one of my bolts came off of my wastegate it took it off to find a new pair that would fit and the stock gasket was destroyed from the heat so right now I have it on w/o the gasket. Im about to order a new one but how bad is it w/o the gasket? Will i just leak some exhaust? Or is it bad for the manifold/wastegate itself?

Well, I look at it this way. You have the gasket for a reason. I have an internal wastegate so. . .I really couldn't tell you but it seems to work for others. Use your best judgement.

When I ran a gasket it leaked, because the gaskets that came with my Tial couldnt take the heat. When I ran no gasket the Wastegate didnt leak at all.

I had to send my Tial back to the company, I asked about replacement gaskets and they told me not to run any, that the silver ring would seal it. As a matter of fact he told me the only reason they put gaskets in there is to satisfy people who always use gaskets.

Same thing, I took my TIAL gasket out cause I couldn't get a good seal with those hex bolts. ABSOLUTELY no leaking since.
