Default walbro 255lph (hp)??

whats up guys i got a question i am putting my turbo kit together and got a question i bought a walbro 255lph i checked the numbers on the pump and it was a high pressure one not the regular one so my question is from what iv read the honda fuel pressure regulator cannot handle the high pressure pump so i will have to get either an adjustable fpr or i will have to drill a 1/16 hole in the stock regulator is this correct? my plans are to run 8psi daily with dsm 450 injectors tuned with neptune. will it work with stock fuel rail and fpr or am i gonna have to upgrade or do the ghetto upgrade? if so does anyone have a link how to do the ghetto fpr upgrade? thankx guys.

I've used the high pressure walbro's with tons of stock fpr's with no problem. Whatever you do, don't run the B&M FPR with the walbro hp units.

I had a 255lhp with 880cc injectors, stock fuel rail, stock FPR, stock lines, and made around 400whp on my old setup. Didnt have any problems.

Are you being sarcastic? Everyone says b+m is the only regulator that will lower the pressure enough with the hp pump.

That is totally opposite. The B&M only modifies the stock FPR. Therefore using the same return fitting size. The reason some ppl have problems with high fuel pressures is because the stok regulator cannot return the fuel fast enough. When usin the B&M, you are only modifiying the top half of the regulator, therefore you still can't lower the fuel pressure without doing the endyn mod with drilling the FPR.

Yea, I knew that drilling the fpr was necessary. I have the hp pump and am putting the b&m regulator on and drilling the fpr.
