Vtec and Turbo......go together well.......
yea i'm in class at skool and me and my friends are talking about cars, and i'm talking to a couple of my friends about turbocharging a gsr motor that is gonna be dropped in a civic ek......and one of my friends who's not really a vtec fan, has mitus mirage, is all talking about how to turbocharge that engine u'd have to get rid of the vtec.....and i'm like man......NO!!!! all telling him a turbo kit will go well with a gsr motor with the vtec still on, but still can't stop talking about blowing up my sh*t........i will be running about 7-9 psi of boost, when i get this done, please post on this topic how good a turbo charged vtec motor is, with no internals, but i'm also gonna be building the motor up with a 2.1 liter stroker kit from crower, which includes je forged pistons(low comp) crower rods, and a crower billet crank!!! I told his *** to read a book or something, but post on here how well it does work good, and how wrong his *** is!!!!!!!! Cuz his *** won't listen without proof, if u guys can post some links to some videos of u guys running ur turbo vtec!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! man.....so i can paste it and send this to him!!!!

why don't you get your *** to a library and read a book or two, it wouldn't hurt and I'm sure your future setup plan will change drastically.

If you want more displacement, I would suggest boring it out, and getting fatter slugs...instead of stroking it.
Regardless...I would leave that **** stock, and get your fuel and ignition, and a standalone.
compression + boost = power
Have it dyno tuned to perfection with the stock bottom end...

Re: Vtec and Turbo......go together well....... (SiR Kid)
Never blew up, always ran strong as ****...about 340hp daily driving (stock internals mind you), and over 400hp in race form (built)...
Even when 2 injector o-rings broke simultaneously, and fried piston rings, it STILL ran hard as crap all day every day, over 12psi, for 7 months...
Turbo + VTEC + Compression = ORGASMIC
