Have you researched your other options? The vortech kit for our cars only offers redline hp.... a turbo gives you hp way sooner... The supercharger they use on our cars is way too big for our small engines.

My suggestion is research your JRSC and turbo "kit" options before dumping money first...

The Vortech was recommended to me on 1.6L Si engine. Turbo was ruled out due to a stock bottom end, and N/A was only recommended if I built a 2.0L from scratch to get the same amount of power.

diabloautosports.com has pretty good prices. If you call them, ask for Mike.

Why was turbo ruled out? It doesn't put any more stress on your motor than a sc. Correctly tuned you will get MUCH better performance and good reliability from a turbo. I would really recommend doing a little more research before going with what that guy recommend to you. He is obviously trying to sell you a vortech!

i have a stock botomend with 160,000 miles on the car and motor, and the only thing on the motor that has been replaced or taken apart is the valve cover for timing belt and valve adj.

on that setup i have been boosting for over 30,000 on the same motor and turbo drag kit that is and a 1995 integra gsr with no problems, even with 10 psi of boost that i am running with pump fuel and a vafc, and alot of time with the vafc and it run dam good
