dead end plug...hmmm..can you be more specific? i still have the idle surge. i got a new map sensor, tried out a friends ecu and chip. it seems to come and go now. also it seems to only surge 3 times and then steady off. any ideas?

possible vacum leak around the throttle body, make sure your gasket covers the entire outer perimeter, or you are sure to have a problem.

maybe the FITV is a bit loose if you happen to have that style TB.

yep im checking for vacuum leaks today with soap and water. what was that plug you were talking about? what i dont understand is why it only happens sometimes....ususally after i have taken it over 5000rpm and or once its warmed up. i never get it on a cold start and for at least the first 10 minutes of driving.
