i need to have an i dea about how much psi to run on my built b18c. its all forged with 8.5:1 compresion ross pistons and darton sleeves. i was thinkin are 30psi. but i want to be sure before i try it. i have a lot of monet in the motor any dont want to destroy it or blow a head gasket.

 

What rods do you have? Darton sleeves will handle 30PSI without a hitch. If your motor is built properly I don't see any reason that you couldn't boost 30PSI. Your using head studs, correct? If so I wouldn't worry about blowing a head gasket. Also, what kind of numbers are you looking to get? 30PSI is quite a bit so I am assuming your looking to get some serious numbers.

Blowing a HG would be the VERY least of your problems that could occur.
