Default VAFC Hack question. Help Please?

Hi all,

well guys, i'm a broke guy counting off the seconds to go F.I. I finally got a vafc today at a very good price for my custom turbo setup. so far i have a to4e/t3 turbo and the vafc (driving me nuts! can't do anything but stare at it and drool) Well, i've decided to go with the vafc hack for fuel management but i'm wondering if i really need the 440cc injectors. I get the basic concept of the hack so i'm thinking, can't i just go w/ smaller injectors like the 370cc's and not lower the fuel settings all the way down to -40%? I have a b16a3 and figure my car would need less fuel compared to the 1.8's and type-r's. Also, i know that i should go bigger to stay safe but availability on those are so limited. Please help a nu-b out. thank you for your time. BTW: USA are going to the FIFA WORLD CUP QUARTER FINALS!!!

Default Dude....

...you can get DSM 450s for like $40-$50. I have seen them as low as $30.

Even cheaper if you pick them from a junkyard yourself!

Don't skimp on fuel delivery man. It takes less than 1 second to blow your engine.

Yeah, with the VAFC setup on stock fuel pressure, 450s will get you good up to 8-9 psi, 370s would only be good for like 6 psi boost unless you start messing with fuel pressure, pumps, etc. You really should get the 450s, they are so much cheaper than 370s it's not even funny.

i got my DSM's for 32 dollars shipped off of ebay. and the whole point of the hack its to lower the voltage to the map sensor thats the reason for the large injectors so it dosent lean out .
