Default Vacuum lines

I need to know if this is a correct setup. The turbo vaccum source is the outlet of the turbo which i THINK produces a vacuum source(going into towards the intercooler)(theres a little nipple coming off the outlet adapter or the turbo. Im pretty sure the top set up is good but the bottom one???

I cant see a difference between the two.. in theory this set up would work.. but it gets really hot down there so i would run everything from a few different vac sources on the IM. but its your call

Get a vacuum manifold from either Fast-Turbo or Golden Eagle and call it a day.

i would rather not spend money on a vacuum manifold. i rather just use T fittings and such.

whats another vacuum source i can use besides the one that goes behind the manifold like the one in the picture. i dont know much about vacuum sources. i know about the booster one but what about others.

on another note, what about BOV. theres a bolt on it, whats the difference between tightening it and loosening it.

I didn't say it because it's the most cost effective way.
If you are not careful of what you are t-ing into, you may not draw enough vacuum for whatever needs the vacuum source.

the compressor housing is a boost source only. vaccum sources are located after the throttle body. boost gauge and bov will need to see both boost and vacuum. wastegate can see boost only, not sure bout the fmu. you shouldnt use an fmu anyways. you can tee off a few things if you dont wanna get a vacuum mani. fpr and brake booster are good choices.

yea, the blow off valve is tee'd into the wrong place. and you cant have that many tees. you wont get engouh vacuum to everything.

also, you cant have a vaccum source hooked up to the wastegate AND a source from the turbo....

just buy a vacuum manifold. dont halfass ****

hey thanks guys for the input. im getting rid of the fmu after i get it tuned soon. as for the turbo source, i knew it was a bad idea but just thought it would work. im probably gonna just use the source behind the manifold and the fpr one.

can someone answer my question about bov's. its a hks ssqv, diffference between tightening the nut and loosening it.

it's related to the spring rate of the bov. if you tighten it, it requires more pressure to open the bov. if you loosen it, it requires less.

autozone has plastic little "manifolds" with 2-5 nipples on em. they only cost a few bucks.

i don't think it's really good to have the bov and wg sharing a vac source. i did it before and it was ok, but doesn't respond as well.
