Default uberdata users: how does my bin look

i don't understand how come it takes so long for someone on the uber forums to simply take a look at something. i posted this damn thing over there almost 2 weeks ago and not one reply........and then they get upset when you post over at honda-tech.......bunch of flamers......

anyway all i wanted was for someone to simply take a look at my ignition tables to make sure they are pretty good and safe.

currently running only 7psi of boost. im more interested in the ignition map.....how does it look? to aggressive? pretty safe? more timing? less timing?

the motor is 8.8:1CR running 91-92 octane.

if it matters its a 84mm bore B20/VTEC on a p28 ECU with RC750 injectors running on uberdata v1.70

here is the bin: http://uberdata.pgmfi.org/foru...2.bin

again its only running 7psi of boost so ignore the 10-11psi columns.
thanks

1. Sync your ignition timing at idle to 16.50 deg.
2. Back down on you timing at atleast 19 deg at 5.7 lbs & 17 deg at 8 lbs.
3. Put the car on a dyno & tune it

Better safe then sorry

thanks.....

i have the idle ignition set different than 16.5 deg for a reason....im trying to get it to idle smoother than it is with these 750cc injectors. it will idle nice at 13.7-14:1 A/F but if i try to get it any leaner than that it idles like ***......so I'm experimenting with ignition timing.......

any other input?

I'm at work so I can't take a look at that bin, but I will say what mtber said is right. I think that's a little over retarded considering you have 8.8 compression, but as long as you get it tuned soon you'll be fine. Personally I'd say 21 degrees at 5.7 and 19 at 9lbs, but you won't go wrong with a little safer.

In idle you use so little fuel it really doesn't matter what you idle at. Just get it to run crisp and no backfires or "popping." On bigger injectors (550cc+) I like to idle at 900-1000rpm. I guess you could add a little timing to your entire ignition if you haven't because of that compression, how much is up to the dyno and tuner . GL
