Ignition Timing HELP!
Ok, I'm working on ignition timing for EMS, and was thinking that
it is definitely ok to run stock ignition timing (load vs. RPM) while
load is non-positive.
then I'll interpolate values for positive boost at a rate of 1 degree of retard
for each lb of boost.
This seem right?

Yes, you will be fine for starters that way. Probably 3/4ths of a degree is plenty conservative.
Be sure to look at you ADV COMP window in engine parameters and make sure your timing agrees with the timing gun. It will save you a lot of headaches.

1 deg/lb may be too much. Try 0.8 or 0.75. I had horrible high rpm response/stutter with anything more than 0.8 deg/lb.
OK?
