timing retard

Default timing retard

is there a timing retard rule of thumb for boost. i did a search and it said something like .75 degrees for every 1lb of boost. i am running 5lbs of boost so i should retard about 4 degrees right. correct me if i am wrong

I'm of the understanding that you should retard 2º for 5-7psi, but I'm not sure if that's 14btdc or 12btdc...if your stock setting is 14+-2º, let's say...
