Turbonetics T-3 super 60 on B16 ??? (searched)
i'm using a nissan oem t-28 turbo on my 99 SiR(B16) and it's running out of steam at top end, hence i only got a god damned 175whp at 7psi.
i know that a t3/t4 would be a good match for the B16 but since i don't want to change my downpipe and turbo manifold yet i was thinking of getting the t-3 super 60 which have the same downpipe flange and manifold flange with my t-28 but i don't know if the super 60 can handle the b16 or just lose steam on the upper rpm as with my t-28.
i did a search but most people are planning to mate it to a d16 and only one person said that it will also lose steam at top end if couple to a b16. i don't want a big *** turbo with lots of lag, i just want something within the range of or similar in capability with the Drag III t3/t4 turbo for the Si/SiR.
any comments will be appreciated.

not sure if I have the super 60..bt I think I do. I have a turbonetics T3 with a 60 trim..so whatever. I am running it on a stock B16...full custom exhaust...and a egual lenght mani, and zdyne secu. it pulls strong all the way up...and it seems like it has more to go.
haven't taken it to the dyno yet but I am getting there hopefully soon.
although I have run it at the track...and without a lsd and good tires and a much needed two step...I did a 2.3 60 foot...with a 13.3 at 110mph. with all that stuff i should be in the mid 12's easy.
so for me it seems like a pretty decent turbo. I am happy with it.

I'm running a T3 super 60 on my B16A3 powered Del Sol. I don't have any dyno #'s yet, or track times because winter hit... but it pulls hard up to 8000 rpm. The turbine side is a .48 and it spools VERY quick. I start to get boost at 2700 RPM and I have full boost at 3500 RPM (10psi).
Becasue it spools so fast, I think I'm going to get a bigger A/R turbine to help keep wheel spin down.
Just thought I would throw that out.

Re: Turbonetics T-3 super 60 on B16 ??? (Dr Honda)
first off, you really should try turning the boost up on your t28. It is more than capable of holding 12ish psi to redline, and that will make you happier.
The t3 super 60 would be a very nice match for your motor as well. It's almost perfect. It might even be a little laggy. A .48 turbine side is perfect. There was a post of someone making over 400 hp on a .48 turbine side not to many days ago. A quick spooling turbo is nice- Learn to modulate the throttle. Wheel spin is no good argument for a bigger turbine ar.
