Default Is this turbo too small for my setup

I've got an ls vtec that I'm about to boost.
It's gonna run crower stage 2 cams w an aebs manifold and 70mm tb
i'm looking for around 300-350 whp

the turbo
48AR turbine housing
compressor .60AR housing
60 trim wheel

Heres Turbo #2
Its a 50 trim
.42 a/r turbine housing
.48 a/r compressor Housing

when can I expect to start spooling and hit full boost?

its not too small it just may take more boost to make that power...

spool time depends on a few things... whats your setup like?

you can hit the power goal but i dont know if your stock bottom end will hold the psi that you will need to reach your goal. it should spool very quick unless the cams play a factor.

When am I expecting to hit full boost?
I wanna be at full boost at about 4500-5000 RPM, so i can daily drive outside of boost.

the only way your going to get 350 whp is if you run both turbo's,,,,,,,,,,,run both and and it could make probably about 550whp max boost and then make 300-350 daily whp

seriously if youa capable of getting the manifold to do this?

you could probably hit 350 at 17-20psi with that 50 trim

i would just get a t3t4 57 trim and that power will be made on less boost and you wont be pushing the turbo to its limit

and you can dd the car and still get to 5k... just dont mash on it and it wont build boost

Uhh, engines hold psi unless they leak it all out.

This is kind of silly you don't want to daily drive while in boost so I suggest you get a daily driver and keep this car separate =/

Haha, I think you're trolling but the OP doesn't want to run a TT setup.

Haha, exactly. Usually when I don't want too much power I go easy on the gas pedal.

^ sounds good! i personally like my 50 trim because of the quick spool and around 300 is great for me because my clutch can hold it great w/o any slipping

A stage 3 should handle more than 350 WHP.

Im gonna 3" back.

And now,the age old question.
B16 pistons in an ls block boosted.
I have a fantastic tuner, so High compression boosted...
Debate!
