Estimation of power please
I bought my turbo under the assumption that I knew exactly what I was buying, then some extra numbers were thrown into the mix, and on top of that I can't seem to find a compressor map of the turbo I purchased. So I would enjoy it if anybody could explain to me the capablilty of my turbo's power.
- Garrett T3/T04B Turbo
-.47 Trim Compressor Wheel
-.70 A/R Compressor Housing
-.63 A/R Turbine Housing Option
-Stage 3 Turbine Wheel
Also what would be the estimated full boost at around 10PSI and 14.7PSI on a 1.8L engine tuned well.
Thanks much. <3

Damn.. going to have to re-evaluate my goals. Thanks much. I was going for 310-315ish on a B18B1 with SRP Pistons(8.5CR), Eagle Rods, and maybe headwork and cams. Thanks guys.

So from now on, if I can't find something out by searching HT and Google I'm not allowed or supposed to ask a board dedicated to the knowledge I need... you're right, I shouldn't ask ever again.

what did you base this off of. I am nto calling you a liar or anything- i was just curious

ah come on Bro you nkow there will be a hater somewhere. frankly when you came to me with this question all i could find was: that the compressor housing was a t04S, but i couldnt find a dang thing on the .47 trim wheel in that housing.
More answers please!!!!

Re: (dornon13)
just so everyone knows. Those numbers are all made up. We are laughin at you for trying to get numbers out. We can guess to about 30-40whp but that's no where near close. Just set your mind on a horsepower and work from there. That turbo should do for stock internals. It doesn't matter how much PSI you are trying to pull out of it, just aim for the HP .
Man I've been thinking guys. I think I should take a video of dyno run with me pushin 25 PSI on stock internals with EXTREME rich and retard (watch EGT's though) just to prove that PSI is nothing it's all in the tuning. I wish I had bigger injectors to ru rich though otherwise I think I would and everyone could just point to the video
